The municipalities want to work together in partnership to develop concrete solutions for their daily tasks. One of the central tasks of municipalities worldwide is the supply of drinking water. The realisation of this central task is often not a matter of course, but a challenge that municipalities must solve. Global warming, which causes climate change, makes it even more complex to reliably supply citizens with high-quality drinking water. Depending on where the municipalities are located geographically, the reality of the water issue is different, as natural water resources vary greatly. On the other hand, the question of a good and reliable water supply infrastructure plays a decisive role. This is where the municipal partnership projects come in. Many municipalities work with their own companies, others co-operate with private service providers to manage water management tasks.
